Emilie Bright

April 1984 – May 2024

Emilie Bright was born in Seattle, Washington to Kathleen and Dennis Bright in April 1984. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from The Evergreen State College and worked as a Sales Representative. In 2013, Emilie met Ronald Jarczak and they married in July 2017. Emilie lived in Tacoma, with Ronald and their three dogs: Sebastian, Phoebe, and Indigo.

Always open and ready for an adventure, Emilie could be found at concerts, braving the snow to go hiking, or taking a well-deserved break in the summer sun. Emilie will be remembered for her bright and curious mind, her openness to new experiences and her warmth and kindness to the people and creatures in her life. Those who love her will miss her, but we will hold her in our hearts and be better for having known her.

Emilie is survived by her husband, Ronald Jarczak; her parents, Kathleen and Dennis Bright; and sister, Meghan Bright.

A Laying-In Ceremony will be held at Recompose in Seattle June 28th at 2pm.
