Doug Wilson

Services Specialist

Doug (he/him) is part of Recompose’s Client Services team. Doug is passionate about using death care to create a better Earth for both his teenage daughter and the world.

Doug has a passion for making sure the dead are given the respect and dignity they deserve. Doug started his journey in death care in 2007 in Arkansas. As a licensed funeral director, he proudly listened to stories about hundreds of people to help friends and family through grief. Doug was an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community in Arkansas to learn about end-of-life decision making and law.

Doug is new to the Pacific Northwest and enjoys the mountains and forests, which renew his soul. He has a teenage daughter who loves science and the arts. Doug enjoys day hikes, bowling, and video games.
